How?  Simply place Krinkle Magic underneath your fabric, embroider, trim around each flower with scissors or a Stencil Burner, then hover a hot steam iron above (not touching) the design.  The petals curl and shrink into amazing realism.  The "magic" is amazing.  Another effect may be achieved by also adding a layer of Quilt Magic Wadding or similar, between the Krinkle Magic and the fabric.
