The Walking Foot syncronizes the foot with the feed dog for perfect stitching when sewing stripes and checks preventing movement of one fabric for precise alignment.
Excellent for machine quilting to hold layers of fabric together particularly when a "sandwich" is being stitched - ie two layers of fabric with batting in between.
