Judy's Note: Some designs in this set have been specifically created to use variegated threads. A three tone variegated thread looks better than a two tone. Refer to the striped pants of the Gollies for the wonderful effect the variegated thread gives. It just looks like striped fabric appliqué but is in fact, machine embroidered. Absolutely brilliant digitizing for this effect. I suggest you use any variegated thread which changes colour approx. every 30cm
