Iron-On Lightweight Tear-Away by Vilene

Ideal for machine embroidery and is used to stabilize stretch fabrics such as knits but is also wonderful for wovens too. It is Iron-On but doesn’t leave any adhesive residue, is repositionable and tears away easily after embroidery.

0.15mm thick, white, suggest ironing for 6 seconds.
90cm x 1 metre

Judy’s Tip: Many of my friends have been using this stabilizer in lieu of freezer paper for hand appliqué stating that it is the ideal way to have perfect hand stitches because it is a flexible guide but completely removed when completed. Some use it on top of the appliqué piece, some use it underneath the appliqué piece between the appliqué and the main fabric – your choice of method.
