Bobbinfil is used in the bobbin of the sewing machine to give better machine sewing and embroidery.  The weight of Bobbinfil is finer compared to other threads giving nicer embroidery and no fear of the bobbin thread showing through to the surface.

Another bonus is twice as much may be wound onto a bobbin allowing twice as much sewing before having to stop and refill a bobbin.
