Madeira Metallic has a specifically developed twist construction to produce a strong, durable thread with a soft, pliable feel, allowing it to run smoothly on high speed machines.
A special process bonds shimmery foil wrap directly to the thread core creating a strong 2 ply metallic thread.
A slightly textured twist gives the thread some extra sparkle too.

Judy's Note: Most will suggest a Metallic Needle for machine sewing any metallic thread, but I prefer a Top Stitch Needle because of its larger groove down the front of the needle. Both do have a larger eye and special release at the back of the needle.
