ANNOUNCEMENT……

SYDNEY STITCHES & CRAFT SHOW

Normally, today we'd be setting up our stand at the Sydney Autumn Stitches & Craft Show being held at Rosehill Racecourse commencing tomorrow.  Since I've received several phone calls and emails requesting items to be especially brought to Sydney for collection from my stand, as is quite the usual thing to do, it has occurred to me just how many people still may not know that Punch with Judy is NOT attending this Show.  I have announced that decision quite some time back and had included it in my last few Newsletters and noted it on my website, so I ask you to let your sewing friends know we simply won't be there.  This is the first time we haven't been an Exhibitor at this Show and it follows deleting the Melbourne Spring Stitches & Craft Show (held in September at Caulfield Racecourse) two years ago in my efforts to streamline.  Now, when we did that, the phone calls we had after the Show were incredible - all very disappointed customers.

So as I don't have a repeat of that scenario, I have decided to make it up to you in a small way by the following, so please accept this offer and tell your friends too.

Anyone with an address in NSW or ACT may receive a 20% Discount from any Website Order made for the duration of the Sydney Stitches & Craft Show from Wednesday 7th February until Sunday 11th February.   You must mention this offer in the Additional Comments Section when you place your order.

2ND ANNOUNCEMENT

Our webhost has been upgrading their servers over the last two weeks and will continue the upgrade for another week yet, with a view to improving performance and making it better for all of us.  This has resulted in our website appearing to seem "slow" at intermittent intervals recently.  Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it and we all have to remain patient as they complete their work knowing that we will all benefit eventually.

I want to thank you for your patience and understanding with our January/February Orders not being despatched as quickly as normal due to the incredibly busy month we've had and staff having Annual Leave.  We'll catch up very soon now, but if you're ever needing something urgently, please mention it in the Additional Comments Section and we'll oblige.

REMINDER

For those visiting the AQC later this month, remember that Exhibitors have much smaller booths than normal Shows, so we can't take all the treasures from Aladdin's Cave.  If there's something in particular you want brought, please let me know in the next 12 days or so. We have several new products for 2007 including new patterns, new books, new threads, new stabilizers new Machine Embroidery CDs, New DVDs, new rulers, Pet Mesh for bags, Lutradur Rainbow Spun, Shisha Mirrors and new colours in the Hot-Fix Crystals.  Also will have Gabrielle Swain's DVDs who is an International Guest Presenter at this Show.  Remember to bring your AQC Show Coupons for your special VIP great savings as our Thank You for being a "Punch with Judy Online Customer".
