Stitch & Ditch Stabilizer is a lightweight tear-away paper, perfect for machine embroidery for fine fabric, applique and heirloom. No need to hoop it, simply slide between embroidery hoop and feed dogs. It tears away so easily without damaging the stitches.
Ideal also for quilters for paper piecing because it is quick, easy and tears away without disturbing the stitches and any little bits remaining wash out in the first launder.
For quilting, draw or trace your design, baste or lightly spray with Quilt Basting Spray to hold the SnD into position. Stitch the design then remove the basting and tear away.

Judy's Note: My favourite use is for buttonholes. No more puckered buttonholes, even on the finest fabric. Simply place a small piece of SnD either under the fabric, on top of the fabric or both; stitch your buttonhole. Perfect every time. |
