These strong, durable needles work well for machine embroidery with adhesive stabilizers. Needles provide smooth stitching with no thread fraying.
The needles have a coating of Titanium Nitride that is just a few microns thick. This coating greatly decreases abrasion and friction; the result is less heat build up in the needle (important bonus for your thread) and that the point of the needle will last far longer than regular nickel or chromium-plated needles.
Judy’s Note: Titanium needles are particularly good for nylon, vinyl, plastic, heavy denim and other similar fabrics. Could be good for rubber backed curtain fabric, though I haven’t used them for that as yet.
