Punch with Judy :: Webinars

Webinars
FREE Webinars will be available during 2012 to assist in the education of our products.

WHAT IS A WEBINAR?

A Webinar is a web-based seminar, similar to a seminar in a conference room as a presentation or lecture, however, it is participated remotely by a computer via the internet. A mini seminar, like an online workshop which you will view on your own computer at a specified time.

It is an innovative way of sharing knowledge as an internet based educational program, allowing you the opportunity to learn about and discuss information given via interactive elements such as question and answer sessions and polls.

HOW DOES A WEBINAR WORK?

All sessions are FREE to attend and are conducted at a pre-scheduled time with participants registering prior to the session. Once registered, comprehensive instructions are sent via email with a link to attend at the scheduled time. Reminders are given prior to the session. Each session is usually of one hour’s duration and it is advisable to log in five to ten minutes before commencement. Limited numbers are able to attend each session.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

You will need a broadband internet connection - i.e. not dialup
There is NO software to download.
You will need to pre-register and be accepted.
There should be no firewall issues.
A notepad and pen to take notes if you wish.

Q&A

There is a chat box where attendees can ask questions or send a message to the host. Only the host may have access to view these. There is a section where the attendee may “raise their hand” to let the host know there is a question or comment. The host then reads the question and replies so as every attendee may hear the Q&A. Mostly, there is a Q&A at the end of the session.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A WEBINAR?

Webinars allow a clear presentation of ideas and education of products in both a visual and audio manner in your own home and they are FREE. Because they are interactive, the opportunity for participation in the question and answer session is clearly a bonus. Registrants can also participate during hours that are convenient for them. No travel is required enabling people from all over the world to participate together.
