Jelly Roll Tube Maker by The Gypsy Quilter
Ever tried to make a fabric tube with batting inserted? The strong, sturdy & durable Jelly Roll Tube Maker by The Gypsy Quilter will ease the sometimes tedious & painful folding process of creating the fabric & batting tubes. (refer to endorsement)
- Saves time
- Produces consistent tubes
- Works best with 2 1/2" pre-cut batting strips
- Use with or without an iron
To make the Fabric & Batting Tube, place a thin batting strip on the wrong side of a 2 1/2" fabric strip. Feed the layered (fabric & thin batting) strip, batting side up, into the wide end of the Jelly Roll Tube Maker. If needed, place a sewing awl in the slot on the tool to pull the layered strip through. Then fold the now magically folded, layered strip in half as it comes out the other end & place under the sewing machine presser foot ready to stitch. Keep the Jelly Roll Tube Maker close to the sewing machine & slide along as you sew.

Sew Precise, Sew Fast ™ Machine Binding by Suzanne Michelle Hylands - Booklet
Innovative Technique for Precise ¼” Binding There are many ways of binding a quilt and we all have our own preference, but Suzanne believed there had to be a way to apply a beautiful “machine” binding because she didn’t like a blind-hem or decorative stitching method, binding applied to the back and brought to the front. What’s worse, she hated hand sewing, so after years of searching, quite by accident, trying to “fix a problem binding”, she developed a technique to create a tight, traditional ¼” binding by machine. This innovative technique features lumpless seams and perfectly mitred corners.15 – Punch Rewards.
