Weaver's Cloth is the preferred fabric for Punchneedle Embroidery as it is able to use all sizes of punchneedles.  It also has an excellent "return" if you need to unpull the embroidery, as it doesn't leave "holes" in the fabric where the stitches were.

Weeks Dye Works' hand dyed, cotton-polyester blend weavers cloth fabric is colourfast and ideal for punchneedle embroidery, crewel and needle felted projects. The fabric is dyed in an eco-friendly process.
