This customer purchased the item at our site.
An excellent course as are the other online courses and you work at your own pace and help is always at hand, even if you do the course over more than 1 year. Great product

Advantages: Gives more insight to the ruler and options than you would otherwise be aware. Allows you to go outside your comfort zone with a safety net of there always being support from others doing the course, from Judy and Leonie West if required

Disadvantages: Having done 3 other online courses with Judy I cannot think of any negatives at all. Well I certainly would not sign up if you like efficiency, friendliness, professionalism and darn good friendships.

Hi Judy

I have had a chance to use the frame now and here is my report -

I purchased the Grace EZ3 Quilting Frame from Judy and am very happy with this quilt frame. It is lightweight, stores easily and has three options for width of quilt from Queen down to 36 inches making it useful to both the quilter, tapestry and cross stitcher. Installing the cloth leaders that hold the layers is so easy with their system. The great thing I love about it is the 1/4 increments on the rolling gears allowing for finite movements of the three quilt layers. Despite the 62 inch width rollers I set it on, it is unobtrusive in our lounge space. The circumference of the rollers is narrow enough to allow for easy hand movements, as I am a stab stitcher. The unit is very easily folded down to store away when not in use which is a great plus when small grandchildren come for holidays. In short, I love my Grace EZ3 and I loved the wonderful service I got from Judy.

I would also add you might recommend to anyone buying the frame that they purchase the leaders from you at the same time. Those Grace leaders are all marked. Oh and tell them to buy the long quilters flat pins at the same time, the flowerhead ones because you pin the quilt on the leaders with them. Nothing like having the complete parcel to begin for an eager hand quilter!

Kerry Cooper about  Terial Magic Spray:
Jan 2, 2016
This customer purchased the item at our site.
Very happy with Terial Magic Spray so far.
The first time I used it, I didn't follow the instructions (I know!) and used it similar to a spray starch, (sprayed it on and ironed it straight away), and had good results with machine embroidery. Next time I followed the manufacturers instructions, and got a great result with a very complex machine embroidery. Every embroidery after that was done using Terial Magic, and I've always been happy with the results.
So I can say that even if you charge in like a bull through a gate and don't do it "the right way", you'll still get a good result.
It's easy to use, doesn't stink, and doesn't gum up the machine needles. Washes out like a dream.
Now I'm looking forward to trying 3D flowers on a quilt wall hanging.

Advantages: Easy to use.
No nasty smell.
No stabiliser needed for most embroidery. You can still use a stabiliser if you want, but can use a much lighter weight.

Disadvantages: Not too many!
Not so good on Minky type fabrics, but that might be me. After using Terial Magic, I only use a wash off stabiliser on the top of the fabric.
Takes a little more time to properly prepare the fabric, but not much. It's well worth the little extra time spent to get a better result.

Marija Fickling (marijajf@yahoo.com.au) about  Stay-Tape™:
this is the best product I have ever used to stabilise seams. I first found it through Stitches with australia magazine, then again from Palmer & Pletch readings. I tried it and now don't want to live without it.

When I opened the pack the fabric sheets were yellow around the outside graduating toward the centre. When I printed my photos part of the image looks aged some clear. After following the instructions I put my quilt togetther and wased it with soap and photos look washed out.

Mrs. Vada Semple about  Kwik Spinner Thread Dispenser Large:
Jan 15, 2016
This customer purchased the item at our site.
I should have written this review some time back, so apologies to you Judy. I have tried other methods to stop thread breakage using 40wt rayon, polyester and metalics without good results. We pay many thousands of dollars for our machines so in my opinion the cost of the Kwik Spinner is worth every cent as it eliminates all thread breakage and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

Karen Nethercote about  Pleat Maker Online Classes:
Great value - great notes and great inspiration. It was like having Judy beside you for the course. If you had a problem, the online support was excellent - usually less than a six hour response - sometimes instantaneous. If you have a pleatmaker you should do this course. I was blown away with what my pleatmaker could be used for. Thanks for a great course.

These are brilliant. My hands are almost useless and pinning with safety pins is a misery and took hours. These are so quick and easy.

Dont waste your money onthese fabric sheets. The photos look faded and washed out before I have even sewn them into my quilt. Just as bad as the Bubble Jet Set stuff.
