Quilters and needle-workers love Martelli's collection of no-slip block templates. Designed for use with the Martelli cutting system, their templates are your precision friend for creating perfect quilt blocks. While their easy-to-use rotary cutting template designed for quilting, they have applications for crafting, scrapbooking and more—any time you need a perfectly square block.

Precision laser-cut from durable polyethylene, the secret of their no-slip templates is in the patented, foam-rubber, ‘get-a-grip’ backing. This backing ensures an easy-but-firm adhesive gripping action, with no tacky residue like some other gripping templates. These wonderful tools are perfect for hand or machine quilting, allowing time-saving cutting and piecing techniques.

They are ideal for cutting pieces for four-, nine-, and sixteen-patch blocks; creating perfect blocks of any size; and squaring up finished blocks. But there usefulness is only limited by your imagination. All templates include 1/4" seam allowance, finished sizes for blocks are ½-inch less than templates (e.g., a 8.5-inch block template will produce a 8-inch finished block). The template size is laser-etched clearly on each template. Use the fussy-cut windows to preview your fabric for fussy cutting.
