EZ Quilting® Easy Three Tutorial

Using the Easy Three
Before cutting strips, fold your fabric once parallel to the selvedge edges, with selvedge edges together. Then fold again in the same direction. Trim along one side of the folded fabric perpendicular to the selvedge edge to square it up.
Demo image Determine the strip width to cut based on the finished side of the equilateral triangles you want. Find the line on the tool corresponding to that measurement. Line up the square edge of the folded fabric along this line and cut strips.
Demo image Line up the tool at the end of the strip as shown, with the base of the tool even with the bottom of the strip. Trim the edge at a 60° angle.
Demo image Flip the tool over and line up the tool with the top of the strip and slide the tool until the corner of the strip fills the triangle corresponding to the finished side size as shown. Cut along the other side of the tool.
