CUTTING
     IMPORTANT:  This can be a real mess if you don't organize your work!  Seperate the units as you cut them out (Example--usa a "baggie" for each of the nine different blocks
  
Step 1  Transfers--cut off 2 rows of the lines from all sides
            Muslin--cut 8" x 8"---need 64

Step2  Cut from (selvage to selvage) the following number             
          of strips.  Attach a scrap of the fabric in the space
          below.
2 1/2" wide (1)
2 1/4" wide (3)
1 3/4" wide (5)
2" wide (21)
2" wide (36)
1 3/4" wide (4)
2 1/2" wide (1)
2 1/4" wide (6)
2" wide (21)
1 3/4" wide (4)
2 1/2" wide (4)
Step 3  From these strips, cut the following lengths.

     Set #1---(2" wide) X
                  6 1/4"---5 1/2"---4 3/4"---4"---3 1/4"---2 1/2"

      Set #2---(2" wide)  X
                   7"---6 1/4"---5 1/2"---4 3/4"---4"---3 1/4"

       Set #3--(2 1/4" wide) X
                   6 1/2"---5 1/2"---5"---4"---3 1/2"---2 1/2"

        Set #4--(1 3/4" wide) X
                    7"---6 1/2"---5 1/2"---5"---4"---3 1/2"

NOTE:  Cut 1 strip per block for last row in Block #9--
            1 3/4" x  7"
