Hello Everyone,

A really quick Mini Newsletter with five important things to tell you.

Please, EVERYONE, read the one re Newsletter Subscriptions.

CHRISTMAS ORDERS

There’s still time for Christmas mail to reach you. If you’d like something from your “WISH LIST” to go under the Christmas Tree, then please order today or tomorrow.

I’m sure if I can mail it to you by Tuesday, then you should receive it by Friday. Wednesday by Express Mail, but no later.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Don’t forget our Punch with Judy GIFT VOUCHERS too. I can email one to a friend or relative right up until Christmas Eve if you wish. In several dollar value increments, so there’s one for everyone.

RETREATS 2006

I’ve now managed to set aside two more dates for Retreats during 2006.

A mailout will be emailed tomorrow giving all particulars. If you asked to be included in that information and don’t receive such an email by Tuesday, then please contact me in case I don’t have you on my “list”.

However, I thought I should advise you beforehand of the two new dates, just in case you would like to attend but never put your name down because the previous dates didn’t suit.

The Patchwork Retreat is still 5-7 May, 2006, but I’ve also added 8-10 October, 2006. Machine Embroidery Retreat is still 9-11 July, but I’ve also added 26-28 February, 2006. Hope this is welcoming news to many.

NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTIONS

As you would be aware from my last two Newsletters, we are presently doing a major changeover of our Website internally. Had hoped this would be ready for you to enjoy before Christmas, but this is now not possible because of the time factor and also because we’re implementing several new features which need to be tested and tried before “going live”. I thank you in advance for your patience.

There is ONE important thing you need to do for me though please. If you’ve ever updated your email address without mailing me directly, would you please advise me of any previous email addresses you may have had that are no longer in use? This is extremely important because they don’t bounce, just disappear into cyberspace, but they need to be deleted from the list. Now, if you have emailed me directly when you swapped over, then you don’t need to do so again. I’m mainly targeting this request to those who simply subscribed under their new email address and just left the original one there. NO, it doesn’t “drop off” automatically and NO it doesn’t bounce back to me to alert me of the “doesn’t exist, can’t find” type notice. It’s there in limbo. Please think and then take the time to email me advising of any previous email addresses that are no longer in use.

QUILTING NEWS CHANNEL

I know this week is extremely busy for you, but, if you’re quick, you will catch some wonderful educational episodes on the Quilters News Channel. Angelina Fiber has been one of the hottest new things we’ve introduced over recent months and there’s an excellent segment showing how to use Angelina from Betty Blais, the author of “Amazing Angelina” book which should be arriving in my hot little hands this week. ($23.95) View it at 11.30am daily on the link below. If you’re not home during the day because you work, then how about 1.30am !!!??? it is repeated then.

PLUS, Sandy Chandler, the inventor of the fantastic Curve Master Presser Foot, is on at 7.00am, 11.30am, 3.30pm & 7.00pm showing different quilting old favourites using her templates and the Curve Master. Now, these are really a different approach, you really should view the one on Drunkard’s Path. I’m still in awe as I’ve been doing this using the normal two matching template technique. Please view it. I know you’re going to force me into having Sandy’s new templates in my range. All her segments are different and one simply explains how to use the Curve Master with a lot of detail and close-ups.

Finally, Nicole Lenze-Whaley demonstrates her new template that I’ve been raving out. The Mercury Template is featured at 5.30am, 10.30am & 5.30pm showing how to cut Hexagons, Diamonds and 60 degree Triangles quickly and easily all with the one template/ruler.

Note: Times given are Eastern Standard Daylight Times for Australia for Sunday 18th December, however, I note that they change daily, so it may be a good idea for you to check the schedule when open the site.

Later this week, I will email my Christmas Newsletter to you featuring the Year in Review as well.

Till then,

Happy Sewing,
