Punch with Judy - Quick News October 2010

AUSTRALASIAN QUILT CONVENTION website and bookings for classes goes live Wednesday October 27th! Tutors include experts in piecing, applique, machine-quilting and a range of design areas and hail from around Australia, New Zealand, UK and USA.  Esther Aliu, Jenny Bowker, Gloria Loughman, Beth and Trevor Reid are back by popular demand. Coming to AQC from USA are Carol Taylor, creator of colourful award-winning artworks, textile artist Jane Davila and John Flynn - renowned for his quick, easy methods for piecing. Christine Porter from UK and a popular tutor around the world, is making her first appearance at AQC, teaching designs inspired by antique European floor tiles. Plus, a range of classes from exquisite traditional designs to art techniques that push the boundaries - talented tutors such as Australians Di Ford, Margaret McDonald, Kay Haerland, Linda Steele and Carol Wilkes and Anna Williams from NZ.
