![]() 1. SHOWS
Sydney's Craft Expo is this year to be held at Rosehill Racecourse from 10 - 13 March. A "move" applauded by all. Find us on Stand 117. Tell your friends and make sure you tell them that this is NOT the same show as was last held at Rosehill Racecourse because the "Stitches" Shows no longer exist.
My daily workshop at the Show is at 1.30pm in Seminar Room 1
"Embellishments - Flowers, Frills, Trims & More!"
2. RETREATS
Machine Embroidery Retreat will be held from 10th - 12th September, 2011 plus another on 16th - 18th September, 2011. If you own a computerized machine embroidery machine, this is a must! Everyone learns so much whilst having a great time with other fellow enthusiasts.
PLEAT MAKER ONLINE CLASSES with
These lessons will take you through from how to use your Pleat Maker correctly, manipulating your fabric, having fun with frills & trims, flowers & embellishments and using your Pleat Maker for patchwork. Come join me on a wonderful path that will change your sewing ideas forever!
Do have a peep at our new Student's Gallery for Pleating and you'll most certainly be inspired with what a Pleat Maker can achieve.
WESTALEE MYSTERY SAMPLER QUILT ONLINE CLASSES commenced also on 1st February and students may join at any time up to 1st June. This class has taken off with a huge leap and the girls doing it are already very chirpy on the Yahoo Group chit-chat and are enjoying a healthy State by State challenge between themselves. One of the repeated comments is: "My accuracy in patchwork has improved immensely since using the Westalee Rulers, just love them!" Not once, but over and over. Expressions are now being accepted for our new Curve Master Online Class scheduled to commence 1st June, 2011. We already have numerous enrolments and I'm sure this class will be an absolute runaway. Sandy and I are presently preparing these lessons. Another Punchneedle Online Class will be scheduled asap. 4. JUDY'S BLOG Last Newsletter in my "Golden Oldies" and in my Australia Day Blog, I mentioned how good I thought a particular product was that I used mine all the time. One Subscriber asked if I could also give some more "personal" acclaims to other products that I myself use regularly. She stated that if she hears of someone else's own personal tips that she's more like to take note and also likes to hear what others think. I can't do that within Newsletters but I can within my Blog because you are able to post comments about any articles. Therefore, I will make more attention to doing same in future Blogs. I wil be posting another Blog tomorrow. Remember that you may subscribe to that so as an email is sent to you everytime I update my Blog. You may also give comments on various products on the actual Website you know. Under each product there is a section for you to contribute your findings about that product. It sure helps others determine if that product would suit their own needs. Please use that function more often. As I said, a short Newsletter this time simply making some announcements. Little Footnote: Do any subscribers use the program "In Design" from Adobe? Please email me.
Till next time,
